Caring for a pandemic patient at home

I'd like to shift the conversation to the procedures and logistics of caring for a pandemic patient at home. How to isolate the patient, handle laundry and dishes, equipment needed, disinfecting rooms they're occupying etc.

I found this link to a site in idaho that has some good starting info. http://www.panfluidaho.org/media/pan...omeToolkit.pdf
I'm wondering if there is more to it than that.

Please, lets not tagent off into herbs vs. pharma as that has a thread of its own.

I saw this kit for sale and it intrigued me. Way too spendy but the idea of using a vaporizer to disinfect large areas has merit.

It would be a lot easier to use a vaporizer to disinfect the bathroom/bedroom instead on getting up close and personal with a sponge. Plus a person would be more likely to clean areas like headboard/footboards, dressers, cabinetry etc.

Make sure you have an enema bag. We are talking about the hot water bottle type, not disposable little bottles from the store. If your patient is becoming dehydrated, an enema can help rehydrate them. By using an herbal tea in the enema, you can get some nutrients into the person.
